| How to Add Row Numbers in Microsoft Word |
I do it on Microsoft Word for Mac OS X, but the steps are also the same in Windows.
It is not difficult to number row in Ms Word table. Just follow the steps below:
How to Add Row Number:
1. After creating a table, select the column that you want to add row number.

3. Customize the format you want and click OK
4. The ordered number should appears in the table. Sometimes the number does not display properly (disappear half part or you do not see it at all). Don't worry! Lets go to the next step.

5. In case you do not see the number appears, it is because the column is too small. Simply drag to expand the width of the table. You should see it now. You can then drag the number to the position you want it to rest.

6. You can always change font, font size, and font format of the number.
How to Delete Row Number:
Deleting a row will affect only the row that is deleted, and the number will be re-ordered. So, you do not have to worry about wrong order of your number ;)
